Doctrine of Discovery: Unmasking the Domination Code

racial-justice-matters-logoFilm Screening and Q&A Celebrating Native American History Month

Come experience the epic journey of a 15th century Catholic Doctrine in The Doctrine of Discovery, Unmasking The Domination Code.

This film by First Nation Peoples examines the effects of a doctrine traced to Vatican Papal Orders (Bulls) issued by the Popes in the 15th Century, which purported to grant rights to claim dominion, in perpetuity, over non-Christian lands and their inhabitants.

The film screening will be followed by a Skype Q&A with the documentary creators

Native American inspired food will be served.
